We’re looking for enthusiastic, outgoing volunteers who are committed to helping make the iRock Jazz Festival the most incredible community experience Holland has ever seen! Our amazing volunteers will be committed to iRock Jazz’s mission and really strive to engage with the community. With your help, we can really promote our area’s creative and cultural potential and make the iRock Jazz Festival an awesome experience!

Volunteer Guidelines
  • Volunteers must be 18 years or older.
  • Volunteers must be dependable and punctual.
  • Volunteers receive no monetary compensation for their services.
  • Volunteers will be expected to give a minimum of 3 hours of service during the Festival.
  • Volunteers will be dismissed for tardiness, the influence of drugs or alcohol, or improper behavior.
  • Volunteers are required to attend one pre-festival training session (1 hour).

    Are Volunteers rewarded?

    Volunteers will receive an exclusive iRock Jazz Festival T-shirt and free admission to the Festival during non-committed hours. Volunteers who successfully complete their shift will also receive free admission to the rest of the festival for that evening.

    FAQ
    Will I be trained?

    There will be volunteer training sessions prior to the Festival. At minimum, attendance is required at one session. There will be some position specific training sessions for which you will be notified once placed. During the Festival, you will work under the supervision of our incomparable Coordinator Coordinators, as well as members of the iRock Jazz staff and the RSVP Events team.

    Can I request when I work?

    Volunteers will be scheduled according to the preferred day listed on their application. We will try to accommodate requests whenever possible. Priority for daytime volunteer shifts will be given to returning iRock Jazz volunteers.
