Emma Dayhuff

Emma Dayhuff, acoustic and electric bassist based in Chicago, can be found performing with Robert Irving III’s Generations, Matthew Santos, Rajiv Halim, Larry Brown Jr, Andrew Lawrence, Hot Chef, Don Stiernberg, and Ernest Dawkins among many others.

Emma is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory’s Jazz Studies program, where she studied privately with Peter Dominguez and Eddie Gomez. In addition to maintaining a performing schedule, Emma is a recording engineer for clients including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and Chicago A Cappella.
